E.Y.E. Divine Cybermancy - Windows
Genre - Sci-Fi FPS/RPG
Plot - You belong to a secret organization of Samurai Monks called the Secreta Secretorum who are attempting to overthrow the corrupt government called the Federation. Within the Secreta your faction, the Culter, is in conflict with another faction, the Jian.
Gameplay - E.Y.E. is a first person shooter with many role playing game elements. You have an inventory system that is both based on size and weight of objects. You level up and improve your stats just like any other rpg. Killing enemies rewards you with experience and money. Money can be spent on unlocking new weapons, buying and upgrading abilities, or augmenting your body parts.
The campaign’s story is a little hard to follow at times, but it’s interesting if you pay attention. Every single mission can be completed however you want. Your choice in how you play is an idea this game really focuses on. If you want to be stealthy you can buy a cloaking ability and use a silenced sniper rifle. If you want to be loud you can use a minigun and run head first to the enemy.
Pros:
You can use the same character for multiplayer and single player so you keep all of your skills, experience, unlocks etc.
Fair amount of weapons to choose from.
Inexpensive (Only $9.99 on Steam)
Easy to rebind keys, also controller support.
Cons:
Confusing at first, no real tutorial.
Steep learning curve.
Terrible voice acting, when there even is any.
Overall E.Y.E. is a pretty good independently made game. If you and a friend are looking for a good coop game to play together then check this out. Once you get past any initial confusion, you will have fun playing this game.

Family Feud: 2012 Edition - Wii/XBOX360
I got Family Feud: 2012 for the Wii for my girlfriend for Christmas. I wasn’t expecting much when I bought it but I figured it would at least be a little fun. It’s a little slow at some points in the game, (there are some annoying pauses that are just a little too long), but overall it’s a pretty good game. If you don’t have friend’s or family members to play with this game wouldn’t be that fun. So if you are alone, don’t get this game. But if you have people to play with it’s great. Up to 10 people can play and you only need 2 controllers.
If you like the game show you will like this game.

WINDOWS/XBOX360/PS3
I’ve been playing Fallout: New Vegas for a couple days now. I’ve heard some bad things about it but overall I’ve enjoyed the majority of it. The only real disappointment that I had with it was the beginning. I loved Fallout 3’s beginning where you start out in the vault. Leaving the vault and exploring the world, not knowing anything about it, was such a fun experience. In the beginning of New Vegas your background is predetermined as a courier. That’s kind of lame. And the opening cinematic sets the scene of the major happenings of the world. Even lamer. But to really appreciate this game I had to stop comparing it to Fallout 3 and just look at it as its own game. To me this game is like a big playground that is full of fun things to do. The ability to choose what you do, where you go, and who you kill or spare, really makes New Vegas a great game. But then again pretty much all of Bethesda’s games are like that. New Vegas is worth checking out, just try not to think of what you miss from Fallout 3 and you will have tons of fun playing it.

WINDOWS/MAC/LINUX
Bit.Trip Runner is one of the best indie games I’ve ever played. It is a game that will make you want to rage quit so many times but at the same the the music, the visuals, and the game play makes you say, “Alright just one more try” over and over. I regret saying this, but if I had to say a game similar to it I would mention Robot Unicorn Attack. Runner is kind of like that game, in the sense that if this type of game had a genre they would both fall under it.
If you are interested in this game you can buy it through the Humble Indie Bundle website which has a “pay what you want” system. That means if you feel like being cheap you can simply pay a penny and get 5 indie games. Runner isn’t the only good game in the bundle, it also includes Super Meat Boy, Shank, Night Sky, and Jamestown. Also if you pay more than the current average you get 2 more games.
